Drying out

In between my crazy job and running to the studio one day a week for jewellery making I've recently delved into ceramics. This is much thanks to Kirsten, but also being surrounded by beautiful objects at work and realizing I need to have a go and keep on learning new things. I suppose I can relate it to working with wax in jewellery- but to be able to make large 3D objects is turning out to be pretty damn exciting and thus I'm needing to find space at home to dry all these odd new bits and pieces. I can't wait to fire these and start glazing them to see what comes next! And it might just have my Christmas shopping covered with- let's call them 'quaint' handmade ceramics for the family!
